April Stitch fix

After 2 years I got another fix! And I must say that the stylist did pretty good. I decided to keep 2 of the 5 items sent. So let's take a look into my stitchfix box!
The first item I kept is the Market & Spruce Chaplin Hooded Anorak Cargo Jacket. I fell in love with it as soon as I put it on and I was in need of a new spring jacket so it was perfect!

I have to mention that I just LOVE that they send style cards for each item!! That way you at least have an idea of what it could be paired with, especially if it's something you wouldn't typically wear. The second item I kept is a pair of Mavi Ruxin boyfriend jeans. I do not typically wear this style jeans, but I had put in my additional information for the stylist that I am a nurse and when I'm not working I'm usually running Evan around to his various activities or lounging at home. These jeans are perfect! So comfortable!!

I would like to add that sometimes the items sent may be a little pricey.. the jacket for $80, which for a jacket is not bad. These jeans were $90! I do not look at the price tag until after trying items on. I feel that had I known how much these jeans were I would not have even put them on. Honestly, I almost didn't keep them even after seeing how much they were but Mike saw how much I loved them and told me to keep them.

The next three items I did not keep. The first being the RD style ferra maxi dress. I love summer dresses, however I tend to drown in a traditional maxi because I have no curves. That was certainly the case with this dress. Super comfortable, just not for me.

The next item was the Papermoon Mixed Material Knit Top. Again, super comfortable but not for me. The shirt was navy in the front and then had a polka dot design on the back. I felt like I was wearing it backwards and Mike agreed.

The third item I chose to send back is the Street Level Parker Tote. I really like the tote but did not care for the color. The style card just shows a sketch of the tote but it was a light brown/tan color. I really don't have anything that would match it. I also didn't like the fact that their were no pockets in it. I did let my stylist know in the review that I would like the tote in dark brown, cream, or black so maybe I'll be seeing it again!

Overall, I was very pleased with this fix since it was the first one I had gotten in a couple years. The goal is that as you continue to get fixes and review each piece as to why you did or did not keep each item, your stylist will get to know your style better and be able to send you more items that you will keep!
