Last Saturday was the 2nd annual Jonah's Golf Outing held at Willowcreek golf course in Big Flats, NY. What a wonderful event! The event is a fundraiser for the local Children's Miracle Network which provides much of the funding for the area NICU. My friend, Hollie and her husband, Andy, have put this fundraiser together as a way to give back to the NICU due to the fact that their son, Jonah was born 3 months prematurely. Jonah is now 5 or 6 and although he has his struggles, he is a true inspiration to everyone around him.
This year the fundraiser donated over $8000! Pretty amazing for being a small community and it only being the second year! After the golf tournament, there was food, drinks, and raffles at Tag's restaurant (another great place... and great concert venue too!).
